Job Description The Director of Strategic Analytics is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Levi Strauss & Co.'s distribution analytics function. Reporting to the VP of Distribution & Logistics for U.S. & Canada, you will support the US and Canada Distribution team, focusing on providing insights to optimize distribution channels, including retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. Your responsibilities include leading analytics efforts, informing go-to-market strategies, assessing opportunities, and providing market intelligence to support growth. Responsibilities Standardize and centralize reporting, automate processes, and enhance digital visibility and collaboration. Lead a team of analysts to analyze data, identify trends, and provide strategic guidance to senior management. Develop frameworks for evaluating distribution value and shaping LS&Co.'s positioning. Prepare executive-level presentations on retail, e-commerce, and wholesale landscapes. Evaluate the impact of distribution changes in collaboration with partners. Build relationships with research teams to share insights and maintain a comprehensive view of the retail landscape. Become an expert in various retail data sources and utilize data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively. Lead analyses involving large datasets to evaluate opportunities and distribution evolution. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in insights, strategy, consulting, or related fields. Ability to interpret partner needs, focus on business impact, and understand data and analytical methods. Proven leadership skills in motivating diverse teams. Technical Skills: Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI. Experience with ERP and supply chain systems such as SAP, Oracle. Ability to analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, or R. Experience with automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath. Knowledge of data governance, standardization, and cloud data solutions. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco, CA, with an expectation of in-office presence 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. The starting salary range is $144,800 - $219,300 per year, with potential variations based on experience and location.
