Electronic Test TechnicianIn this role you will test and process Cobalt Digital products prior to shipment to customers. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing. Cobalt Digital offers group health insurance, a 401(k) with matching contributions, and a generous company holiday schedule.A typical day in Cobalt's test department will include processing untested products as they arrive from our factories. The work is in a fast-paced environment and shifting priorities can be expected depending on customer, engineering, and sales requirements.The above statements are a general description of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.Roles and Responsibilities:Experience reading and interpreting test procedures, schematics and engineering drawingsFamiliarity with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and test signal generator monitors and analyzersHave an understanding of electronic circuit theory and designAbility to troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies to the component levelSoldering skills and ability to do precision workStrong attention to detailCommunicate and describe unexpected issues to supervisors and/or engineering as they ariseAdditional training would be given as requiredHave a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy a challenging and rewarding environment
