Recruitment Consultant – Legal Marketing/Business Development Recruitment USA

Salary Range : 60-80k + Commissions

Location : New York, NY - Midtown

Working Model : Hybrid - 4x a week (Monday-Thursday in office)

Role Overview :

We are working with an exciting, fast-growing recruitment business that specializes in marketing, business development, and communications recruitment within the legal sector. As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to help build and expand the US division from the ground up. This dynamic role offers an exceptional chance to work with prestigious law firms, including AmLaw top 200 and boutique firms. You’ll be part of a small, motivated team, reporting to the Associate Director, and be supported by industry expertise and training as you grow your desk and career.

The Recruitment Consultant will...

• Build strong relationships with high-profile law firms across the US, delivering top marketing and business development talent.
• Be a proactive recruiter, sourcing both active and passive candidates through various channels like LinkedIn.
• Ensure a high-quality experience for candidates, making sure they feel valued at every stage of the recruitment process.
• Attend industry events and contribute to market reports and newsletters, positioning yourself as a market expert.
• Take ownership of your desk, building your brand and expertise in the legal marketing recruitment space.

Essential Skills:

• Proactive, self-motivated, and driven with a passion for success
• Open to 180 or 360 backgrounds
• 6months-3 years recruitment experience
• A strong work ethic and proven track record in sales, recruitment, or goal-driven roles
• Ability to build and maintain strong, consultative relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Resilience and the ability to remain focused and positive when facing challenges
