This entry-level position is perfect for someone who values teamwork, consistency, and takes pride in behind-the-scenes work that directly impacts our customers' experience across 10+ cafe locations.Kitchen Operations & Production SupportMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities, including walls, floors, equipment, and reusablesAssist with production tasks, including syrup making, chia preparation, and lil dipper productionSupport order fulfillment processes for retail locations and customer ordersPerform routine kitchen maintenance tasksFood Safety & PreparationExecute proper FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation proceduresAssist with food preparation tasks, including chopping and slicing, measuring and weighing with accuracyMaintain food safety standards and protocols at all timesSupport quality control measures throughout production processesTeam Collaboration & CommunicationWork collaboratively with kitchen team members and communicate effectivelyMaintain open dialogue about kitchen operations and safety concernsContribute to a positive, learning-oriented work environmentSafety & ComplianceUphold kitchen safety standards as a shared responsibilityFollow all food safety regulations and Bird Rock protocolsReport safety concerns or incidents immediatelyMaintain a clean and organized work environmentRequired:Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsStrong team collaboration skills and positive attitudeReliability and consistency in work performanceQuality-focused mindset with attention to detailAdaptability to changing production needs and prioritiesFood safety awareness or willingness to obtain certificationPreferred:Food service background or kitchen experienceBasic knife skills for food preparationFamiliarity with commercial kitchen operationsWe're looking for someone who embodies our commitment to Quality, Integrity, and Improvement & Innovation.
