Medical Director

Job Summary Responsible for assigned aspects of medical policies and programs. Performs medical reviews and interacts with hte provider communities for assigned areas. Responsibilities Oversee medical review processes and manage interactions with provider communities within assigned areas. Job Requirements Physician (\"M.D. or D.O.\") with a current and unrestricted license in a state or territory of the United States. Maintain Board Certification by a specialty board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties, National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, or the Advisory Board of Osteopathic Specialists. Five years of clinical experience. Analytical and communication skills. Strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes, for electronic documentation of case reviews. Preferred Requirements Three years of Managed Care experience. Three years of Utilization Management experience. Specialty in OBGYN or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Work‑from‑home position with rotating weekend/holiday calls. Compensation Base Pay Range: $191,500.00 – $355,600.00. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. The role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to terms and conditions.
