Registered Nurse - Long Term Care/SNF

RN Long Term Care / Wound Care assignment for a 9-week contract working day shift from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This role focuses on providing specialized wound care management for residents within a long-term care setting. The RN will assess, treat, and monitor wounds while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal healing outcomes and maintain high-quality resident care. Interview required prior to offer. Local candidates only.

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Long Term Care experience required
• Wound Care nursing experience required
• Strong wound assessment and treatment planning skills required
• Experience with skin integrity management and prevention protocols preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams required
• Excellent documentation and patient education skills required

Responsibilities include documenting wound status, collaborating with physicians and therapy teams, educating residents and families on wound prevention and care, monitoring infection control practices, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards within the long-term care environment.
