About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: Provide direct patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit. Assist with surgical services including orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, and endoscopy. Demonstrate expertise in managing patient care from admission through postoperative recovery. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the surgical process. Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition. Contribute to a positive team environment and support staff collaboration.
