Staddle Camp Counselor

Overview Location: Brush Creek Ranch. The Camp Counselor will work under the supervision of the Lead Counselor. This person will help facilitate the weekly arrival and departure of campers, teachers and special guests, providing a safe and healthy environment for middle school age children. Responsibilities Help Lead Counselor plan, lead, and implement camp programs for children Supervise campers and ensure their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and camp site Facilitate lesson plans for daily activities Organize and lead various small and large group activities Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program Help prepare all meals and keep track of dietary restrictions/allergies for all campers Complete any other tasks assigned by Lead Counselor or leadership Qualifications Enjoys being in the company of children Leadership Communication skills Patience Problem‑solving skills Organization skills Must be able to carry heavy loads and travel on uneven terrain Ability to perform a variety of tasks outside in various climates Requirements Education or experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children or in a related field First Aid certification is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr White Lodging
