Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) reports to the Plasma Center Manager and provides operational support for plasma collection. Responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, notifying donors of unsuitable results, evaluating donor reactions, managing medical emergencies, referring to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues, supporting vaccination programs, managing employee incidents, and coordinating pandemic investigations as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Location USA – Missouri – Saint Ann Hourly Wage $33.44 – $45.98 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and location.
