Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg | Travel | Illinois Assignment Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Neuro MedSurg Acute for a travel assignment in Illinois. This role is ideal for a dedicated RN with Level 1 trauma experience and previous travel assignments. The unit focuses on patients with conditions such as stroke, spine surgery, and brain injuries. Assignment Details Start Date: 8/4/2025 Facility Type: Acute Shift Details: 12-hour night shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Every other Floating Requirements: General unit traveler floats to general unit Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific scrub color; tattoos covered, no piercings besides ears Charting System: EPIC Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable) Responsibilities Provide care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, brain tumors, and related neuroscience conditions Titrate heparin drips based on PTT Float to various units as needed Qualifications Required: Active IL license or application initiated BLS and NIHSS certifications Experience with Level 1 trauma and prior travel assignments Experience in a dedicated neuro unit Heparin gtt experience Negative drug screen for all panels Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 64327217.
