Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity available in a Level 3 Trauma Center in Spokane, WA. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing diverse patient populations including trauma, psychiatric, medical, and cardiac cases. The position offers a chance to work within an experienced team dedicated to high-quality emergency services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 11/02/2026 to 01/30/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI certifications; EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience; 3-5 years of experience in a Level 3 or higher Emergency Room
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN certifications; experience with RSI, conscious sedation, lines, drains, tubes, and general ER procedures
• Support on the Unit: CNA/ER Tech support (2-4 techs depending on shift), receptionists/HUCs (day and night), charge nurse support, phlebotomy performed by RN, occasional float to free-standing ER or other units within the organization
• Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC; IV pumps: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis; Monitors: bedside and centralized telemetry; supports floating to other units as needed
• Orientation: One week of general orientation, 24 weeks of unit-specific orientation for nurses; 1-2 shifts with preceptor, lasting 2-3 weeks for preceptors
• Additional Information: Utilizes a 1:1 model for critical patient monitoring; scrubs to be professional and solid-colored; free parking available; team-oriented environment with some stress points, emphasizing support and collaboration
