Senior Interview Coordinator - Fully Onsite

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced associate to serve as an Interview Logistics Coordinator within the Talent Acquisition organization at Capital One. As a Senior Coordinator, you have the opportunity to work with candidates during their most critical stage of the hiring journey. You will orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our on-site recruiting suites, ensuring that every candidate experiences a seamless, professional and welcoming environment. This role requires a combination of logistics, hospitality, and administrative precision.

Responsibilities:

Candidate Hospitality & Brand Representation

• Primary Point of Contact: Greet candidates and interviewers upon arrival and serve as their dedicated host throughout their visit

• Employer Branding: Actively represent our culture and values, “selling” the organization as a top-tier employer to prospective hires

• Suite Maintenance: Ensure recruiting suites and interview rooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies and tech-ready

Logistics & Travel Management

• Travel Coordination: Partner with our preferred travel vendor to oversee candidate flights, lodging and local transportation

• Inquiry Management: Monitor the shared candidate travel mailbox, providing quick and helpful responses to travel inquiries

• Expense Administration: Manage the end-to-end financial process for candidate travel, including purchase orders, invoices and reimbursements

Operational Excellence

• Scheduling Mastery: Work with complex calendars and availability constraints to organize seamless schedules across different teams. Help with scheduling as needed.

• Recruiter Partnerships: Work hand-in-hand with the recruiting team to ensure flawless execution of the interview process.

• Escalation Handling: Resolve real-time issues, such as interviewer tardiness or technical failures, to keep the schedule on track.

• Data Integrity: Maintain confidential interview files and prepare materials for consensus meetings

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification 

• At least 1 year of  Google Suite experience 

• At least 1 year of Customer Service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience 

• At least 1 year of experience with Workday Tracking System

• At least 6 months of Recruiting or Talent Acquisition Experience or a combination of both

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $54,800 - $62,500 for Sr. HR Coordinator

Richmond, VA: $49,800 - $56,900 for Sr. HR Coordinator

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
