About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate multi-trade subcontractors, and ensure successful execution of design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, understands public-sector compliance, and knows how to drive quality, safety, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for design-build public-sector projects (HVAC, MEP, lighting, energy upgrades).
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring clear scopes, sequencing, and accountability.
• Oversee project schedules, daily progress, manpower planning, and critical path activities.
• Conduct site walks, quality checks, and safety audits; enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project managers to resolve field issues and maintain design intent.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders for accuracy and constructability.
• Track project costs, materials, and equipment; support procurement and delivery planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, inspectors, and public-sector stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, building codes, and agency standards.
• Support project reporting, documentation, and closeout deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management or superintendent experience on commercial or public-sector projects.
• Proven experience with design-build delivery
• Strong technical background in HVAC, MEP systems, lighting/controls, or energy-efficiency upgrades
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of construction schedules, sequencing, and field operations.
• Experience working with municipalities, school districts, or government agencies.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain). xhyhwjd
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
