Job Summary Ellie Mental Health is a multi‑clinic mental health organization that supports licensed therapists with comprehensive benefits, training, and flexible scheduling. Candidate Profile We are looking for licensed therapists (PLPC, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, HSPP, etc.) who hold a master’s degree or higher in a behavioral science field, have valid Missouri licensure (provisional licenses will be considered), and are experienced in completing diagnoses, treatment plans and clinical documentation. Desired experience includes work with children, adolescents, and teens and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse clients. Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including diagnosis, treatment plan reviews and case notes per company policy. For full‑time clinicians, maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week. Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to fill gaps in community care. Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol. Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings. Required Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree or higher in behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university. Clinical licensure (PLPC, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, HSPP, etc.) with a valid Missouri license (provisional license acceptable). Experience completing diagnoses, treatment plans and clinical case notes. Experience working with children, adolescents and teens. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients. Ability to complete and submit documentation and other required services promptly. Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base. Proficiency with office technology (computer, e‑mail, etc.) and electronic health record systems (Valant a plus). Ability to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience with couples and families. General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and prior experience with mental health documentation.
