We are in immediate need of a reliable caregiver for a close knit family in need of assistance with mom in the South Charlotte area (on the NC side of Lake Wylie), 3 days a week (Mon, Weds & Fri) for a total of 15 hours a week. Mom has had a stroke and is right side paralyzed, but recovery is expected. This family is looking for support to include personal care, companionship, help with exercise, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications of a Caregiver:

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation is required.

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
