The Crisis Service Technician is a professional who in coordination with the Crisis Svcs Counselor provides crisis management; information; follow-up referrals; and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychosocial/Mental Health field or other degrees with like curriculums. Preferred Qualifications: * 1 year of Psychiatry and/or chemical dependency experience in a health care setting. * 1 year of experience in the area of crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills. * Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) - State of Washington Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
