Position School Photographer – Pleasanton, CA Location Pleasanton, CA Remote Status On‑Site Job Details Job Id: 6409‑31512 # of Openings: 1 Seasonal Position – starting July 21, 2026 Location Requirement: Must reside in Pleasanton or surrounding cities Your Role Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories Use your personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day Enjoy new scenery, meet new people, and have occasional overnight stays (hotel + per diem paid) Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations Use photo software to organize and manage images Build hands‑on photography experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting What You Must Bring High school diploma or GED (must be 18+) Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted) Willingness to start early, including driving start times as early as 4 AM, and occasional extended hours when travel is involved Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use A cheerful, friendly personality – especially around kids Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills Comfort working independently for smaller events after training Travel to schools as scheduled for photo day events Comfortable working with computers/cameras and ability to learn new programs Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens’ standards Reliable cell phone and internet access Benefits 401k match eligibility from Day 1 Seasonal flexibility – work through November with a chance to extend into December depending on event schedules Average 30+ hours per week with overtime pay during peak weeks Paid training included – no photography experience required Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement Promotion potential – become a Photo Team Lead and earn an extra $1/hour Daily Pay option Access to discounts on insurance, travel, pet care, and more Equal Opportunity and ADA Jostens is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
