Credit Analyst I

Responsibilities for Credit Analyst include but are not limited to:

· Review, prioritize, and manage assigned accounts and collection cases to meet productivity and performance goals.

· Monitor accounts receivable balances, aging reports, payment patterns, and account status.

· Conduct collection activities and follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment commitments.

· Research, investigate, and resolve customer disputes, deductions, claims, and account discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate account records are maintained.

· Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Pricing, Traffic, and other internal departments to resolve issues impacting collections.

· Escalate complex account issues and provide recommendations for resolution.

· Support initiatives to reduce delinquency, minimize bad debt exposure, and improve cash flow.

· Prepare account analyses, aging reports, customer-specific reports, and ad hoc financial reports as required.

· Participate in customer account review meetings and provide updates on collection status and risk assessments.

· Serve as backup support for other Credit & Collection team members when necessary.

· Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

· Document all collection activities, customer communications, and account actions accurately.

Candidates for Credit Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

· 2+ years of experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or a related finance function preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.

· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

Pay Details: $21.79 per hour
