Real Estate Agent

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Agent role based in Gorham, ME. The Real Estate Agent will work with buyers, sellers, and investors to guide them through the real estate process from initial consultation to closing. Daily responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, conducting property showings, preparing and presenting comparative market analyses, and advising clients on pricing, offers, and negotiation strategies. The agent will draft, review, and submit contracts and related documents, coordinate inspections and appraisals, and collaborate with lenders, inspectors, and closing attorneys. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in brokerage systems, staying current on local market trends and regulations, attending trainings and team meetings, and actively representing Plowman Realty Group in the community. Qualifications Active Real Estate License in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe). Experience and knowledge in Real Estate and Real Property, including local market dynamics, property valuation, and transaction processes. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build relationships, listen effectively, and communicate clearly with diverse clients and partners. Proven Sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing, with a goal‑oriented and ethical approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in contracts, documentation, and client correspondence. Ability to work on‑site, manage a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends as needed), and travel to properties and client meetings in the Southern Maine area. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential client information. Comfort with real estate technology tools and CRM systems; proficiency with email, calendar, and basic office software. Prior experience in residential real estate, customer‑facing roles, or local market knowledge is beneficial but not strictly required.
