\nPosition Overview:
\nOptigy is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-volume, fully staffed Emergency Department in Waco, TX. Located on a comprehensive medical campus and serving as a certified stroke and chest pain center, this ED offers excellent specialty backup, supportive leadership, and a strong APP team. This is a W-2 employed position offering long-term stability and lifestyle balance in a growing Texas community.
\nEmergency Department:
\n• ED Volume: 54,000 annual visits
\n• ED Beds: 51
\n• Patients per Hour: 2
\n• Admission Rate: 18%
\n• Coverage Model: 10-hour shifts with 50–60 hours of physician coverage and 30–40 hours of NP/PA coverage per day
\n• Designations: Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center
\n• EMR: Epic
\n• Qualifications:
\no BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

\n• Base Compensation: $255/hr
\n• Sign-On Bonus: $60,000
\n• CME/BEA: Annual allowance
\n• Licensing & Credentialing Support Included
\n• Employment Model: W-2 only
