Direct Support Professional (DSP) -Supported Work Group

Location: Warsaw, IN, USA
Hourly Rate: $17.18 - $19.00 (including a $1.82 weekend shift differential)
Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support to persons served within the Supported Work Group (SWG) setting. This position focuses on promoting independence, skill development, and personal growth while assisting individuals in achieving their vocational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support in a community setting, ensuring performance expectations are meet SWG expectations and standards.
Deliver job coaching and assist with skill development to enhance independence and employability
Offer advocacy and communication support to ensure individual needs are met
Supervise persons served at all times, maintaining a safe and structured environment
Ensure assigned work tasks are completed accurately, meeting performance requirements
Monitor and support individual performance, providing guidance as needed to meet expectations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily case notes, progress tracking, and goal updates

Qualifications:

A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Supportive personality with a strong work ethic.
No previous experience required; we offer comprehensive training.
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
Ability to safely transport individuals and work in a Human Services setting with favorable background screens.
