Fire Sprinkler ApprenticeLocation: Plainville, CT, US, 06062 Requisition Number: 230462Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on the job training, online and classroom instruction. This candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on the job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency repairs of our customer's sprinkler systems and identifying non-conformances to code.Skills/Qualifications RequiredHigh School Diploma/GEDValid driver's licensePreferred Experience in the Fire Protection industryExperience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbingBenefitsCintas offers comprehensive and competitive medical, dental and vision benefits, with premiums below the national average.
