Job Title - Off-shift Operations Manager
Shift - 2nd Shift (2pm to 11pm)
Location - Terre Haute, IN
Compensation - $100K to $130K Per Annum + Relocation Assistance + Benefits
- Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Lead personnel assigned to off-shift Operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse.
- Serve as the coordination point for key manufacturing topics during the off-shift.
- Review daily staffing and ensure efficient staffing across business areas.
- Assess operational performance and drive activities that improve efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure performance metrics and organizational goals are achieved.
- Develop and implement high-performance work teams supporting Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other best practices.
- Maintain GMP, SQF, HACCP, and housekeeping standards within the operations area.
- Support the training and development of operations personnel.
- Conduct operations meetings in accordance with organizational standards.
- Communicate relevant information effectively across applicable areas.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Indirect responsibility for all employees working on the off-shift.
Qualifications:
- Prior food manufacturing experience is required.
- 6+ years of related operations/leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, team building, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
- Additional experience in Quality and Logistics is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
