CT Technologist - Radiologic Technologist

Location: Salida, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Training will occur during the day shift. The position requires 4 nights one week and 3 nights the next (Wednesday-Saturday/Thursday-Saturday), from 1930 to 0700. No call required.

Job Description: Join a dedicated team where you can contribute by providing quality patient care as a CT Technologist. You will be responsible for performing radiographic and CT procedures as prescribed by physicians, while ensuring the well-being of patients of different age groups and conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care while performing radiographic and CT procedures with professionalism and accuracy.
• Determine proper techniques and protocols for exams to minimize exposure and ensure diagnostic quality images.
• Position patients effectively to obtain optimal views and ensure safety measures are in place.
• Conduct MRI exams following required safety protocols and questionnaires.
• Transport patients and assist in their movement to and from exam areas.
• Ensure that consent forms are signed and obtain essential patient histories prior to examinations.
• Practice sterile techniques and maintain cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
• Perform imaging procedures in various departments using portable equipment as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduated from an approved ARRT program.
• Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT) or its equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of CT experience is preferred.
