Travel OR Surgical Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (shift extends until all cases are completed) | On-call required 1–2 nights per week | 1–2 weekends per month required, possible holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures within a multi-OR operating room environment consisting of 4 ORs and 1 GI Suite
• Provide intraoperative surgical technologist support including instrument passing, sterile field maintenance, and case preparation
• Perform on-call duties 1–2 nights per week and cover 1–2 weekends per month as required
• Remain on shift until all surgical cases are completed regardless of scheduled end time
• Utilize facility EMR system (Meditech) for documentation and case management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist / OR Scrub Tech
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Hands-on experience with da Vinci robotic surgery, ENT, and spine procedures
• Ability to fulfill on-call, weekend, and potential holiday obligations
• Flexibility to remain on shift until all cases are completed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in OB/GYN and ENT surgical procedures
• Podiatry surgical experience
• Surgical technologist certification (preferred but not required)
