Overview D epartment: Operating Room Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 8-hour shift - 6:30am to 3:00pm Location: DallasRegional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX We are seeking an Operating Room Circulator RN also known as an, Operating Room Nurse, OR RN or Perioperative Nurse. Circulator RN's provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.OR Circulator Nursesworkwithin the operating room setting, collaborating with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety and well-being.OR RNs prepare patients for surgery, which includes reviewing medical history, conducting assessments, educating patients and families about the procedure, and administering pre-operative medications. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training. Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
