Delivery Driver
We are a locally rooted floral business looking to hire a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to support our team. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in punctuality, knows their way around Richmond, and enjoys creating a positive customer experience. You'll be entrusted with delivering beautiful floral arrangements safely and efficiently using our company vehicle.
Position Summary: As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting floral orders to residences, offices, and event venues throughout the Richmond area. This is more than just a driving roleyou'll serve as a representative of our brand, ensuring that every delivery arrives on time and in perfect condition.
What You'll Do:
- Operate a company-provided van to deliver floral arrangements safely and promptly.
- Travel efficiently throughout Richmond and nearby areas using navigation tools or local knowledge.
- Handle floral products with care to maintain their quality and presentation during delivery.
- Load and unload products, occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Collaborate with in-store staff to confirm orders and special instructions.
- Deliver a high level of customer service with every drop-offfriendly, respectful, and presentable.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid driver's license with a spotless driving history
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet as needed
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with Richmond roads and GPS apps
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and a can-do attitude
