Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of current Med Surg/Medical Surgical - Telemetry, Tele/Telemetry, IMCU, Stepdown, or PCU experience required. - Previous travel experience required. - Heparin experience required.

Special Requests: - Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or worked there within the past 12 months; prior UPH travel employment only does not trigger this policy.

Unit Details: - Patient types include ED observation, overnight stays, and varied surgery patients requiring overnight stay. - Patient ratios: 3:5; 2:7 at most.

Shift & Scheduling: - Holiday rotation required; unless the unit is closed, must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). - No call. - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float across campuses and like units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
