The Senior Technician On Call for the Orange County Drug Free Office requires management experience in prevention, mental health, substance use disorder, and recovery programs. Must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in word processing (preferably Microsoft Word) and email functions.


This is a temporary position not eligible for County employee benefits.


Job Description

General Functions :

Provides outreach for major program areas within the Drug Free Office Division.

Work is performed under the direction of the Division Manager and is reviewed through supervision meetings, records, reports, and results achieved.


Representative Duties/Assignments :

Duties may vary depending on the assignment area.

• Assists in planning, directing, and evaluating program performance measures
• Implements harm-reduction outreach programs to meet the needs of targeted clients.
• Programmatic records are maintained in accordance with Drug Free Office guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other human services-related areas of study
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Proficiency in using STATA or SPSS statistical program software

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sociology
• Experience performing qualitative and quantitative data analyses
