The Hilton Charlotte University Place has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Director of Human Resources. You will manage the development, implementation, and administration of human resource functions, including training and development, benefit administration, and employee relations for the hotel.

• Coordinate human resources support to ensure benefits, compensation, leaves, and employee relations programs are effectively communicated and administered at the property level
• Train and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards
• Process new hires consistent with established standards and applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, as well as regulations and court rulings, which pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements
• Counsel and train managers on employee relations issues, resolve employee grievances, conduct management exit interviews, and examine all exit interviews for trends, implement various employee relations programs to maintain a pro-employee environment that ultimately limits turnover

• Prior hotel human resource management experience
• Bachelor's or higher degree in human resources or related experience
• A motivating and professional demeanor
• Hilton experience preferred but not required
