Registered Nurse Oncology

Ascension is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse – Oncology to deliver expert, patient-centered care within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement evidence-based nursing care for oncology patients across the treatment continuum, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and patient education. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and grow professionally in a diverse, inclusive, and learning-focused environment dedicated to innovation and whole-person care. Provide evidence-based nursing care to adult oncology patients across the treatment continuum Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive infusions per protocol and safety standards Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor treatment responses and side effects Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and symptom management Coordinate care with oncologists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines Advocate for patient needs, comfort, and psychosocial support Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and continuing education Oncology nursing Chemotherapy administration Central line management Patient assessment Care planning Electronic Health Records (EHR) Symptom and side‑effect management Patient and family education Medication administration Interdisciplinary collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active, unrestricted RN license in state of practice Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) required ACLS preferred Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Iansociety
