Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring that appropriate treatment plans are developed.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups pertaining to issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts through compassionate and effective counseling.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate holistic care and follow best practices in clinical standards.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay current with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in mental health counseling.

• Contribute to the enhancement of our mental health services by participating in the development of program strategies and improving service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a wide range of clients facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Our patient population includes individuals coping with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relational issues. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their challenges, improve their emotional resilience, and enhance their overall quality of life through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license or certification in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years’ experience providing mental health counseling or therapy to individuals with emotional or psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations quickly.

Preferred Experience\n
