Transportation SupervisorG4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Transportation Supervisor. The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Transportation Officers during scheduled travel assignments. Duties include supervising staff, coordinating schedules and assignments, monitoring compliance with company and customer requirements, addressing operational issues, and communicating with designated personnel. The Supervisor ensures assigned personnel perform their duties safely, professionally, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to work extended shifts ranging from 12 to 15 hours based on operational and travel requirements.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate Transportation Officers during assigned travel operationsProvide oversight to shift schedules; interface with customer's supervisors and Account Manager; evaluate performance of officers; clearly articulate directives, policies, and procedures to subordinate personnelFrequent meetings with customer's supervisors concerning operational and personnel issuesOversee training programs as neededEnsure the training program material is properly applied by all personnel; ensure all employees are available in accordance with applicable customer and G4S contract regulations and policies, as well as Federal, State, and local lawsConduct reviews of operational programs to ensure compliance with state, federal, and G4S policies and proceduresReport incidents, analyze data and information, and maintain oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly required reportsInvestigate and report incidentsPerform transport missions as needed per client request for on-demand services which may occur during overnight hours, weekends, and holidaysPlan and develop site shift and rotation schedulesAssess operational needs of transportation teams and determine, develop, and implement measures to satisfy needed itemsProactively identify vulnerabilities to operations specific to safety and certain events such as entry and exit; develop and implement solutions that mitigate identified operational vulnerabilitiesAssess training and skill deficiencies of Officers; coordinate corrective measures with Account Managers that will mitigate identified deficienciesQualifications (Must Have):Must be United States citizen with a valid, unexpired U.S. passportHigh School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentValid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicleAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; G4S will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable lawsAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by lawMinimum of three (3) years of experience in any combination of the following:Civilian law enforcementMilitary law enforcementSecurity officer engaged in functions related to civil or administrative correctional operationsPrior supervisory/management experience in a multi-location security environmentMust be at least 21 years old or minimum required by the state, if higherAble to read, understand, and comprehend legal regulatory rulings and guidanceEffective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accuratelyPlanning and organizing skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsProblem solving and active listening skillsAssess and evaluate situations effectively; able to synthesize facts, concepts, and principlesAble to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacyTeam leadership skills; coaching, mentoring, motivating othersSetting and achieving goalsAttention to detailPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have):Current unarmed security officer license or registration in the applicable stateFluency in multiple languages (reading, writing, and speaking)Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insuranceEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
