Planner/Scheduler

- Work within Epicor to schedule production
- Coordinate with Supervisors to maximize production
- Schedule effectively with outside vendors and purchased components
- Update customer orders with accurate shipping dates
- Work with the sales team to meet customer requirements
- Coordinate with sister plants on transfer orders
- Analyze, prepare, and create schedules needed for production
- Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectations
- Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
- Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and work orders to meet production schedule and customer expectations
- Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory
- Interact with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues or gather additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service, and other cross functional departments
- Coordinate with engineering on deviations to maintain the bill of operations and bill of materials
- Minimum 2-year degree in production planning / supply chain
- 1-3 years of production planning and scheduling
- 1-3 years of supply chain coordination
- 1-3 years of experience working with an ERP system
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
