Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR-PRN provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This position will take call on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings to cover late cases and callbacks.

Required Education:

• Associate's degree is required
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Required License:

• Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)

Required Certification:

• American Heart Association BLS is required
• Additional certifications as required by department

Other:

• Prior Operating Room RN experience required
