BPC has 156 inpatient beds spanning six units. BPC’s outpatient programs include one (1) outpatient clinic: White Plains Road Clinic; four (4) Community Service Programs: Health Home Management Coordination (HHMC), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Mobile Integration Team (MIT) and Targeted Response Team – Safe Options Support (TRT-SOS); a Residential Village comprised of two (2) Transitional Living Residences (TLR) and a Healing and Vocational Empowerment Network (HAVEN) House; and a Family Care Program. Minimum Qualifications : Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have:Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.ORCandidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
