Responsibilities Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Perform flight line essential services as directed to the daily Flight Schedule. Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required. Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures. Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required, and will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. Qualifications A&P (Airframe and Power Plant) Certified techs may not be subject to the following requirements Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications. Education High school graduate or equivalent. Personnel must be graduates of approved O-Level training, AME School, manufacturer, or Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit for specific T/M/S egress systems. Shall have completed and be able to document the appropriate T/M Navy Egress Class "C" school Experience Shall have minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience. Shall have minimum three years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the specific aircraft hired to maintain. Shall have three years T/M experience within the last seven years. Other Requirements Must be a US Citizen Shall possess or can qualify for a U.S. state driver’s license.
