Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance SpecialistThe Maintenance Specialist role at Kennedy Industries requires excellent communication, teamwork, and rapport by working with machinists and mechanics in a team environment. A Maintenance Specialist is an entry level position with room for advancement. Under direct supervision, the candidate will learn and perform a variety of skilled duties that include sand blasting, coating, painting and building maintenance. The candidate must be dependable, organized, have a positive attitude, have a willingness to learn, and have a service-oriented mindset. The candidate must be competent in using machinery and follow all safety precautions.Essential Functions:Interacting with customers upon equipment deliveryLoad and unloading of pumpsSandblasting, coating, power washing, and paintingBuilding maintenance, snow maintenance and cleaningWork in a safe manner and maintain a safe/clean work areaLearning machine operation and capabilities of multiple machinesConducting accurate inspections on productMove pumps and parts to their proper locationsConduct quality checks on productsMinor machine maintenanceBuild and/or modify skids for pumpsOperating overhead cranes and Hi-Lo vehicles (training provided)Pickup and deliveryMinimum Qualifications:Minimum age requirement of 18Willing to learn and be organizedStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to remain professional and courteous with customers and coworkers at all timesMust be available to work occasional nights, holidays, and weekendsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
