Job Opportunity: NodeJS Developer
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: Full Time
Job Description:
- Node.js: Strong expertise in developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks and libraries.
- JavaScript & Typescript: Proficient in JavaScript; comfortable working with Typescript for type safety and better code maintainability.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based systems.
- PostgreSQL: In-depth knowledge of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless integrations.
- Write clean, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs proactively.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and continuously improve development processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services.
- Engaging in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborating with UI/UX designers, product teams, and other developers.
- Conducting code reviews and participating in testing procedures.
- Monitoring application health and performance metrics.
- Continuously exploring and integrating new tools and best practices.
