SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST (HYBRID)

Senior Financial AnalystCompass Group North America is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst to support Foodbuy LLC. This role is integral to delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and owning the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clients.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and brings strong analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to operate independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and effectively partner across teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clientsExecute monthly close activities including journal entries and reconciliationsPrepare financial reports and perform variance analysisServe as primary point of contact for accounting processesSupport business partners and team deliverablesIdentify and drive process improvements and automationProvide ad-hoc reports as requested by managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA certification or candidate preferred5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditAdvanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools strongly preferredExposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar)Experience working in a large, decentralized, or multi-unit organizationProven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities independentlyExperience delivering presentations to senior management and department customersSkills & AbilitiesStrong accounting knowledge with advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyDemonstrated ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to manage high volumes of work and competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization and planning skillsAbility to foster solid business partnerships across multiple disciplinesCollaborative team-oriented mindsetFood industry experience is a plusCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
