Ultrasound Tech - General

Ultrasound Technologist (Days + Call)
Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms.
Shift: Full Time with Benefits
Hours: Mon-Fri 1st shift (0730-1600 or 0800-1630) + low volume call
Pay: Based on experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasound or Radiologic Technology.
Experience: One year diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
Licenses, Certification, and/or Registrations: BLS certification will be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must be a Registered Sonographer in good standing with ARDMS and/or ARRT.
Equipment, Tools, Work Aids: Diagnostic Ultrasound Equipment, Computers.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of ultrasound examinations. Knowledge of ultrasound equipment. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. Knowledge of patient transportation methods. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Good ethical and professional conduct.
