Job Description
This entry-level yard worker role focuses on cleaning and preparing steel forms used for concrete projects worldwide. You will handle general labor tasks, including cleaning, assembling and disassembling components, and preparing forms for painting and repair. The position involves moving, stacking, bundling, and palletizing parts, as well as operating material handling equipment, while consistently following established operational procedures.
Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare steel forms used for concrete projects to ensure they are ready for painting and repair.
• Assemble and disassemble steel form components and replace parts as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Move, stack, and organize parts in the yard and work areas according to instructions.
• Operate material handling equipment safely to transport and position materials and products.
• Count, stack, bundle, band, and palletize parts to meet production and shipping requirements.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assist with assembly, disassembly, and general yard work.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Follow all operational procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions consistently.
• Work outdoors approximately 70% of the time, adapting to varying weather conditions.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining punctuality and reliability.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform physical labor and handle strenuous tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Experience or comfort with general labor, yard work, and general production activities.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Capability to follow directions to move product and help assemble product accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning, preparing, stacking, bundling, and palletizing parts.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including outdoor work approximately 50% of the time.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
• Punctuality and reliability in attendance and task completion.

Work Environment
This role is based in a yard and production environment that involves both indoor and outdoor work, with approximately half of the time spent outside in varying weather conditions. You will work around steel forms, material handling equipment, and standard hand and power tools, following established safety and operational procedures. The work is physically demanding, including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving materials throughout the shift. Attire typically includes practical work clothing suitable for outdoor conditions, along with any required safety gear such as work boots, gloves, and protective equipment as directed.

This is a Contract position based out of Kenilworth, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
