Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator Job Type: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday to Friday (Day Shift) with Shared On-Call Rotation Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week (32 Hours During Specified Holiday Weeks) Pay Rate: Up to $100/Hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff. Responsibilities Serve as the Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room. Coordinate and oversee patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. Maintain accurate patient documentation using the facility's EMR system. Communicate effectively with physicians, surgical technologists, and support staff. Prepare operating rooms and ensure all required supplies and equipment are available. Monitor patient condition and advocate for patient safety throughout procedures. Participate in shared on-call coverage as required. Requirements Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) License . Minimum 3 years of Operating Room Circulator experience . Current BLS Certification . Current TB Clearance completed within the last 12 months. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
