The specific missile system you will be working on will require your technical oversight on processing requirements, platform power conversion and filtering, and thermal battery applications. What You Will Be DoingAs the Circuit Design Engineer you will lead technical excellence for an Electrical Engineering team, drive those tasks to successful completion, and keep stakeholders fully informed of progress and issues. You’ll work closely with production, program, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule hardware.Your responsibilities will include:Leading Electrical Architecture for a missile system to be launched from containirized launchers.Oversee full product life cycle: design development, milestone reviews, SDRL concurrence, Functional Acceptance Test, Design Verification Test (DVT), and environmental qualification (MIL-STD-1901, MIL-STD-464).Coordinate Functional & Physical Configuration Audits and Production Readiness events.Report risks/concerns to Program Manager and Chief Engineer; act as liaison to resolve supplier issues.Partner with government counterparts as Lockheed Martin’s subsystem representative.Drive innovative, affordable, schedule focused solutions while upholding mission and safety requirements.Why Join UsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of professional experienceExperience with circuit card design, integration,and testExperience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic captureExperience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysisDesired SkillsExperienced with MFC Circuit card design processesExperience with MIL-STD-1901 & MIL-STD-1901AExperience with developing electrical system and/or subsystem architecturesExperience with leading teamsExperienced leading Failure review activitiesStrong risk management skills and experienceExperienced working in a production environment and troubleshooting CCA hardware.Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actionsStrong hands on skills and use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power suppliers & automated test equipmentExperienced dispositioning non-conforming hardware (Material Review Board)Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
