Job Title: Marketing & Communications Manager Location: Hybrid Reports to: Head of Marketing & Communications, Business Development Director Job Type: Contract (temp to perm – FT salary would be $65-70K range) About the Role We’re looking for a brand builder with earned media experience and strong written and verbal communication skills to help build visibility of our go-to-market agency brands and select clients This person should have a passion for storytelling, and the ability to digest information that’s provided and turn it into tight, compelling narratives that earn the attention of our key audiences, whether that’s press, clients, prospects, or our own people The person best suited for this role will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment Key Responsibilities PR / Media Relations Assist in the execution of earned media strategies for the agency and select PR clients to build brand visibility, and proactively provide ideas to build upon or strengthen the plans Support writing assignments like press release drafts, pitches, awards entries, thought leadership, or any other promotional materials Build media lists in support of agency or client announcements Assist with the coordination of press interviews, meetings, events or other brand-building initiatives Monitor media coverage and help develop reporting documents as needed External Communications / Business Development Assist with the development of RFP responses based on existing materials, and build upon or write net-new responses with manager input and guidance Support writing assignments for the agency like website copy, social posts, case studies or any other promotional materials Assist with the development of search consultant communications Internal Communications Help compile and contribute to the internal employee newsletter (“Cigar Box”) Update KitCast digital screens across offices with agency news, highlights, and recognition Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in PR, communications, or business development-focused roles A detail-oriented self-starter who is highly organized and can work independently after being kicked off on an assignment Strong multitasking abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to collaborate cross-functionally and manage competing priorities Proficient with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, ClickUp/Slack, Excel) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing and Sales Industries Advertising Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Gyk
