About the Company

Our client is an established tire and automotive service company seeking a hands-on leader to support operations at its Oklahoma City location. The company provides tire, preventive maintenance, and automotive repair services to retail and commercial customers.

Position Summary

The Retail Service Manager will serve as a key support partner to the Location Manager, overseeing shop personnel and service advisors while ensuring excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and safety.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for an experienced tire or automotive professional who enjoys working directly with technicians, customers, and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support shop technicians and service advisors.
  
• Oversee daily shop operations and promote operational excellence.
  
• Ensure facilities, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer service needs.
  
• Provide technical assistance and product/service recommendations when needed.
  
• Maintain effective communication between service and sales teams.
  
• Ensure qualified and TIA-trained personnel perform assigned work.
  
• Help maintain company equipment, vehicles, and other assets.
  
• Monitor shop performance and communicate operational issues and opportunities to management.
  
• Assist with inventory and property management.
  
• Support staff development and complete required training.
  
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the tire, automotive, or related service industry.
  
• Retail tire store experience preferred.
  
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  
• Strong team-building and leadership abilities.
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and operational excellence.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 80+ pounds .
  
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and drive.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and automotive service environment.
