Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate coast-to-coast for HMD Trucking from our Atlanta area operations as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver. You’ll run scheduled long-haul lanes, manage ELD-compliant logs, secure freight, and work with dispatch to meet delivery windows while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Core responsibilities:

• Drive assigned dry van loads nationwide and follow company safety protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, electronic logs, and professional customer interactions.

HMD provides tractors under three years old with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus in-house maintenance, 65 CPM starting pay, ~2,500 miles/week averages, bonuses, biweekly home time and comprehensive benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience required.
