Concrete Foreman

My client is seeking a hands-on Concrete Foreman to oversee daily construction activities and lead a small field crew. This position is responsible for coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and production while working closely with project leadership.

This is a great opportunity for a construction professional with 2–5 years of experience who has demonstrated the ability to lead a crew of approximately 4–6 employees.

Concrete Foreman Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work activities for an assigned construction scope.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for upcoming work.
• Assign tasks and communicate daily expectations to crew members.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate activities with other trades and project personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower records, and production information.
• Identify and address jobsite hazards and reinforce safety procedures.
• Participate in hands-on construction activities when needed.
• Coach and develop less-experienced team members.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and resource needs to project leadership.

Concrete Foreman Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction experience preferred.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small construction crew.
• Foreman, Crew Lead, Lead Carpenter, or similar experience preferred.
• Concrete experience is a strong plus; civil construction experience will also be considered.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand basic construction practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
