AVP Retail Branch Manager

Job Description Office Location: Brock, Texas, United States Responsibilities General supervision of all Office Retail Operations, including New Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Tellers, Collections, Safe Deposit, Bookkeeping inquiries, and Customer Service. Hire, track, coach, counsel, and support retail staff in all phases of sales, customer service, and work detail. May be assigned to the officer call program. Actively participate in the sales and service culture, support the values of the organization, and follow established bank policies and procedures. Periodic travel to Abilene or other bank regions for training. Saturday hours and holiday hours may be required based on branch location’s hours of operation. Qualifications Six years of retail banking experience, with at least two years in management. Acceptance of a four-year college degree in business or finance as a competitive advantage. Basic math proficiency and aptitude. Demonstrated academic record of achievement in social and leadership skills. Ability to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships. Professional appearance and demeanor; strong social and communication skills. Self‑starter mentality, ability to adjust to flexible hours, and ability to sell products and services. Capacity to supervise a staff of at least five employees and manage daily operations. Strong knowledge of negotiable instruments strongly desired.
