TTSTC- Receptionist/Program Specialist

Overview TTSTC is seeking a Receptionist/Program Specialist in the Business Operations Section. The role performs consultative services and technical assistance work, planning and implementing major agency programs, and providing support to program staff. Work Hours Agency standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (40 hrs per week). Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. The position has no telework; it is an in-person position. Responsibilities Receptionist duties: prepare conference rooms, maintain visitor logs, assist visitors, inform meeting organizers of arrivals, clean rooms after meetings, check calendars, send emails to admin support, maintain Wi-Fi password records, process and distribute mail, answer phone lines, follow approved receptionist policy procedures. Operations: process badge access and parking requests, manage electronic access card roster and parking records, restock office supplies, order submittals, maintain print rooms, enter electronic requisitions into MIP, assist record management liaison, serve as Surplus Coordinator and liaison with TFC and TDCJ, lead safety officer team, coordinate events, backup key designator, submit work orders, handle office maintenance, update staff roster, support special projects, write and review policies. Travel: coordinate travel for non-investment staff, make arrangements, process staff travel vouchers, backup travel coordinator for investment staff. Training: act as CAPPS Learn Training Coordinator, enter external training, track and monitor staff training compliance (monthly mandatory trainings, minimum hours, biennium requirements), help managers enter learning plans, liaison with CPA professional development division, maintain training records and reports. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or General Studies from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of administrative experience. Preferred: Two (2) years of experience with agency program travel, training, and/or operations. Substitution: One additional year of experience may substitute for thirty semester hours of education, up to a maximum of 120 semester hours.
